Crag features
Single-pitch sports routes on quarried limestone. A good range of grades and mostly well bolted.
The crag has an impressive amphitheatre feel to it and is well positioned to recieve afternoon sunshine, although shade is always available.
Approach notes
Tardosbanya is within walking distance (1.5km) of Tardos itself, where free parking is available. Follow the tourist road nourtheast out of Tardos to where the road vears to the southeast. A few hundred meters further on a footpath, marked by a small cairn and platic bottles hung high up in the forest canopy, leads off to the right (southwest) into the forest and steeply to the crag.
The location of the crag is marked roughly by the words Banya-hegy on Cartographia's #10 Map 'Gerecse'.
Tardos itself can be reached from Budapest by public transport via a train service to either Tatabanya or Tata, from which buses service Tardos.
