Very hot in the summer, although mornings and late afternoons can be bearable. Same grades still settling down, as some still belong to the 'old school.'
Park in the village and walk up to the left of the fountain in the little square.
Not a bad crag for quick visits on a summer holiday. Walking from Pale you come to ‘Prima Placca’ first - if you head back along the path toward Pale a little and take the rightward (toward Pale) downhill path you can continue to the main area more easily than along the base of the crag. It is possible to climb out of the sun until about 10am and after 5pm in early August, so you can have a decent session if you get up very early or stay late. Ed Babs - 05/Aug/19 |
