Crag features

The trees at the crag have been cut down, it is now in the sun from midday. This should help with seepage issues

Approach notes

Can be awkward to find. From the A6070, heading N, turn right (Dalton Lane) after the Burton in Kendal sign. After just under 3km, car park on the left (Plain Quarry). Take the path at the rear of the car park and follow it NE for 80m, before going through the fence. Continue up the track (ignoring the first right turn) to a gap in the vague escarpment, and take the RH track (N) along the crag line - there is a large blue arrow on a tree pointing up the correct track. Stick to this track for around 500m - if unsure at junctions keep to the steepest line of ascent, heading NW. You will eventually come out in a clearing with the option to turn right (uphill) or left (downhill). Take the left turn, tracing the edge of a fenced pen. At the corner of the pen there is a bridleway veering right (N). Follow this for around 100m until a slight crag line can be seen over to your right, strike a direct path to the crag to the first blocks.

Beware visited 3 times in total. 2/3 times my mat was Infested by ticks. Others have also referenced to it on ukc under some of the crags routes.
