Crag features

A striking buttress (and outliers) of superbly pocketed rock, but prone to seepage and underuse, thus requiring dry conditions. The main face is particularly attractive and would make a great choice for HVS-E4 climbers on a summer's day, especially to escape the North Wales hordes.

Approach notes

As for Daear Fawr: Park opposite the old quarry on the minor road parallel to the A4212. Walk up the steady quarry track and hop over the wall as for approaching Pen Tyrau. Contour rightwards and slightly up around the hillside to the crag, 45 mins in total.
