Crag features

The University of Birmingham's local crag! The ever sunny Bournebrook Wall! Overlooking the Beautiful Hockey pitches and the towering Great Hall in the Back ground gives this exciting bouldering venue a truely Alpine feel. Responsible for the ever soaring standards of the UBMC, this really is a world class location.

The area consists of the 'crags'. The main crag is the obvious wall overlooking the hockey pitches; the upper tier is accessed by ascending the stairway in the middle of the main wall and the small crag is found a short distance along the path from the main wall (heading right from the archway).

The university club has produced a number of guides over the years the most recent (created by Dan Slocombe) can be obtained from committee members or can be viewed at:

Does anyone have a up to date link for a guide? The one above isn't working.

I completely agree, Ross we should get on it.

The separate wall on the right nearer gun barrels should be added, 4 pillar climbs and the three intervening slabs?
