Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
An excellent third pitch for those who have done Mental Lentils and The Monster Kitten to get here. Start below a nose of rock and boldly follow a ramp-line on the right until you can reach leftwards by a prickly bush into a good crack on the main slab. Pull into the crack and follow it to a plinth. Arrange gear here and move up and left to a bolt. Go past this and up to a second bolt and then head up and right to the large ramp-line and another bolt. From here, either head up and left to the end of the level and a bolt belay, or head down the ramp to a ledge and double-bolt belay, then finish up the next route. © Rockfax
