Rockfax Description
A tough but rewarding pitch. Head up cracks until a reach can be made to an isolated flake on the left wall. Use the flake and a crack on the left to climb up to a vegetated ledge. A lower-off is in place on the ledge. © Rockfax

βeta: Great route. Good moves with a tough crux. Felt more like hvs to me. James led very smoothly. As others have said the route seems to end on a ledge. Given a direct finish from here would lead you onto the unprotected top pitch on an e4 the guidebook description could do with being a bit more useful! No sign of any a tat at the ledge as some have mentioned either. James traversed left to supercruise and finished up that which seemed a logical conclusion if a bit wandering

βeta: I fully agree with jfms. I climbed this on 9th July 2022 and there's now a decent thick rope with a maillon on a deep thread in situ.

βeta: The "choice of finishes" promised in the 2017 edition of the CC Cornwall (South) guide book I found to be lacking. However, there is an abseil station to the left (looking out) made of slings&crabs; none of these looked new, but still safe.
