170m. As the name suggests, this is the south ridge of Rhinog Fach. Start at the lowest point above the screes to the north of Llyn Hywel keeping closely to the crest. The route finishes just short of the summit.

βeta: Beautiful spring day. The walk in largely dry and the rock nice and warm. Plenty of loose holds and blocks, but the rock is good where you need it (v groove under overhang, etc). The location and views highlight the jewel that is Cymru.
