A link up of every buttress and ridge on Caerketton Crag: ascending the first small buttress on the left, as you approach from Hillend, traversing over to the first of the bigger buttresses, where the fun begins. Pick any line straight up the buttress onto the ridge, downclimb the gully from the top, then repeat until every ridge/buttress is climbed, and every gully downclimbed. Mostly it's grade 1 and 2 terrain, but some very delicate grade 3 climbing can be found on the way up if sought out. Turf rarely frozen, so try sticking to the rock, which is loose in places. Great practice for those bigger mountain days.
