1400m. The Middle of the Three East facing ridges that come of the summit of 1450.
Climbed up-to approx 1000m and onto a prominent pinnacle. The remaining 400m look a little loose but superb and will definitely ‘go’ if you have the time, speed and ability.
Route description: either start by an interminable moraine slog directly or better still access the Ridge via the Falls of Flora. Initially wide the ridge begins to narrow at a series of slabs and pinnacles, best took on the RHS. Following this a short pitch is encountered, rope needed if with novices, following this the ridge settles until a large snow wall is encountered (see pictures). Balance along the rock arête on its LHS before reaching the base of a large pinnacle. Turn it on the RHS on snow before regaining the ridge and the top of the pinnacle. We turned around at this point. Roped used for the two novices a couple of times in ascent but due to the exposure more so on the descent. A great day out and the full ridge ascent should be superb.

Still incomplete. 25/Jul/2019.
