It is possible to drive most of the way up, parking at Chalet de L'Aulp. From here, the summit can be reached via a well marked path in around 3 hours. The final third of the climb requires some scrambling, but there are chains and ladders in all the difficult sections.

βeta: Walked in from Mont Min. 13km out and back on well marked path taking 6h 18mins. If you have a car you can drive to Mont Min if walking from the road around Lake (bus from Anncey) then you can add a 2 hour 10km road walk up over the Col de la Forclaz each way. Once on the route its a great way up the mountain. | βeta? | |
