Above the Duror bothy is a massive gully. The bottom section rarely freezes until well above the forest fence. Its possible to climb in from above the fence and climb the upper section through interesting rock scenery and explore a couple of rock/boulder pinnacles on the east side. Sometimes a central ice pitch. Finishes at the march wall above the west descent of Sgorr Dhonuill

Davy Gunn & Bob Hamilton 1979.
