Straightens the original SW ridge, a few hard moves at rock grade vdiff/ hard v diff, overall scrambling grade 4. Good nut belays and protection.
Approach as for the original scramble to the base of the ridge at slabby rocks.
From good crack belay climb slabby rock heading left.
Take first overlap(crux) by the far left corner. Layaway move ,strenuous . The climbing eases to a good belay below slabby rocks .Climb these to the foot of the final tower belay cracks on the right.
Final tower either direct or easier,slight groove on right to narrow ridge and belays.
This now provides a good mini mountain ridge , similar to Elbow ridge in the Winnats pass, possibly better ,with a summit finish.
