On the way from Crinkle Crags to Bowfell, a path weaves up to Bowfell summit with the Bowfell Links on the left. On the right, beside the path, and slightly lower than the Links, are a lovely series of white and pink slabs. These have also been described as the Pyramid Ridge here: http://www.frcc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Langdale-Archive.pdf

The scrambling is reasonably technical, but not particularly severe, with plenty of scope for avoidance and for variation.

This is a description for a line that tries to find the best rock up the centre of the slabs, finishing level with the Links when the good rock finishes. It is easier at the start (grade 1), whilst the upper sections are harder and more severe (possibly grade 2).

The keen can play on here and then traverse left across the screes for a scramble on the Links.

Approx height gain, 60m.
