140m, 12 pitches. An old Jim Birkett girdle route, not mentioned in current guides, but which can be found in 1959 Eastern Crags guide. Apologies for lack of further info!
It was a L to R girdle, hence the name - "Gossard" was a brand name for ladies underwear. All I recall is it started by crossing the big open groove left of the stone wall at the base of the crag and fairly early on it descended an easy early pitch of O.B. and later on became difficult to follow and bushy!
