A summer traverse of almost the full length of the Eilde Canyon, heading upstream. It is possible as far as the obvious 'Y' split in the upper gorge (marked by two impossible waterfalls) at which point an escape has to be made left up very steep grass and moss.
Quite a lot of loose rock and some bold climbs up/around waterfalls. A magnificent adventure in one of the finest gorges in Scotland - take a spare set of clothes and be prepared to get a thorough soaking.
