The summer line of Bracket Gully makes an excellent natural winter line. Route would be IV in good neve conditions, but otherwise has some awkward and serious climbing (as for the rest of Lliwedd). This brief description is from an ascent by Adam Wainwright and Graham Desroy in Jan 2010, but the route has also been climbed by Dai Lampard in 1986.

3. 50m 4. Turf / snow groove
4. 50m 4. Take the central of the 3 grooves above, although the left hand one also leads into the line above.
