UKH Hills - 'Northeast Ridge'

Rockfax Description
I, 100m, 1 hour. Second only to the route above for ease of climbing and access, this fun, short climb gives some easy scrambling in a beautiful spot. It is tucked out of the way from anything else and yet is only a few 100m from one of the busiest glaciers in the Alps. Walk on snow just to the right of the ridge, under a distinctive small tooth, before joining the crest where the snow steepens. Follow the rocky ridge easily enough to the final snow slopes which can feel exposed in icy conditions. These lead to the summit, via another short section of easy rock just before the top. © Rockfax

It is all on rock (in 2022) except for the snow ridge in the middle, which currently has c10-15m of ice in its narrowest part
