Misha 24 Jul 2nd O/S Much slime. Much vegetation. Much meandering. Much choss. Many, many midges. Sort of a cross between a traverse of the Amazon and the Walker Spur, in fact crampons would have helped. An experience! Couldn’t help wondering what the fuck we were doing there or why. Because it’s there? This was possibly worse than Jammed Boulder Gully earlier in the day. Possibly. Was happy to leave Phil to lead it. Limited educational value for short roping as mostly just pitching with 15-20m of rope out, sometimes longer. Started at 8pm and topped out at 10m just before it got dark. Lou and Tim followed. Walked off to Pen y Pass and down the road to Ynys.

jimorothy 4 Jul Lead Trailing rope for trickier bits. Cracking day, more impressed by it this time. Sure, it wanders and weaves, but for the scrambler it's a long committing undertaking in exceptional surroundings and is one of the great days out. Stunning abrupt top-out to sea views too.

Ian Archer 26 Jun, 2014 Lead O/S Day trip form B'ham. Very easy first half and tricky route finding to find easiest line in second half. A lot of vegitation and mossy grooves so would not like to do this in the wet. My third climb on Lliwedd in best part of 30 years. An enjoyable day.
