300m. A very enjoyable winter scramble, slightly harder if the steep initial section is taken directly, but this is easily avoidable.

The approach from the road is via the east bank of the Allt na h-Uamha then cross it in order to join the track heading north. A new bridge means there is no need to ford the river.

At present (winter 2020) most teams are approaching via the zigzagged forestry track a little further west, avoiding the boggy section of the other approach.

Easy for grade II with avoidable difficulties.

βeta: Massive cornice collapsing in places to S of the ridge. Take a wide dog-leg bearing if descending this way in poor vis.

βeta: Would recommend walking through both sections of plantation before turning west to the base of ridge. Limits the amount of bog.

βeta: Deep snow on the approach and descent and continues. Snowed all day with quite high winds, however the route was fantastic and the snow pack was ideal!
