Head down the canyon. There are about 10 abseils with bolted abseil anchors and 2 or 3 via ferrata sections. It should take about 2 to 3 hours in the canyon itself. There are some water filled pools but we managed to stay dry on our attempt an the end of February. From the end of the narrow canyon keep walking down the wash for about 20 mins to a Cairndow path crossing and head left back up the canyon side on a well crafted old trail to the car.

βeta: Whilst it is reasonable to access this canyon by driving up to Port d'Ebo and turning onto the dirt track for 4km's of rough driving. It makes more sense and for most will be a much shorter drive if starting from Fleix and there's no off-roading involved. The pools can retain water for a long time (months) after prolonged heavy rain. Assuming the river isn't flowing, most of these should be avoidable by employing some rope-tricks and the occasional by-pass scramble. But sometimes, conceding to a paddle is the way to go. This and many other canyon trips and much more can be found in the new Cicerone guide: https://www.cicerone.co.uk/costa-blanca-mountain-adventures

βeta: If doing this again I would take a change of footwear, trainers or similar that you don’t mind getting wet for the descent and walking boots for the approach & return. Good topo on Wiki-Infobarrancos.es
