Rockfax Description
A cracking route that some feel might be HVS. From the right-hand end of the ledge at 4m, take the steep jamming crack to a good ledge on the right and possible belay. Climb the tricky groove, cracks and small overhang to an easier angled finish. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Top end VS, with a big feel. Bigger gear useful for the second half. The Rockfax description is a little misleading: the entire crack straight up to a ledge is Aerial Combat E3 5c! Fibre takes the initial part of the crack then goes right under a small overlap to a small ledge under a recessed slab. Overall, the line goes rightwards three times: after the initial crack, at the top of the upper chimney, and diagonally right at the top to get to the yew tree belay.

βeta: Fantastic route, high in the grade. We pitched it to avoid rope drag and because it is quite sustained. | βeta? | |
