The huge chimney crack is a compelling line and popular route. The belays are fixed and there are quite a few pegs but bring a full rack. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
This a corker. Climbing the obvious crack, interest is provided by caves, chokestones and position. Take a full rack, as whilst bolts are provided at most belays, in between the gear is almost entirely trad with the odd peg and the even odder bolt. Descent by foot or by abseil from the top of the crag near the top of Snoopy.

Lionel Terray 1941.
