Access Banned
In June 2022 signage was installed by the landowner indicating that they do not wish crags on the west side of the dale (Griff's, Black & Deckout, etc.) to be climbed on.
Negotiations to secure access have failed to reach a positive outcome. As such climbers should be aware that the owner does not permit access to west/lower Blackwell Dale. Any climber choosing to visit therfore does so against the wishes of the landowner and should politely leave without complaint if asked to do so.

UKC Logbook Description
The original, rarely repeated, version. The line in the Rockfax topo is incorrect. From the left end of the juggy shelf, a hard boulder problem on small edges gains the pocket by the second bolt. Finish direct to a bolt belay on the right side of the prow.
