Rockfax Description
Follow the problematic twin cracks to a steepening. Pull through this using a wide crack and romp up it to finish. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
The original name of the route was "Boveti" - named for the first 2 letters of the first ascentionists' forenames: Bob Jayes, Vernon Dark & Tim Woodcock.

The route was first done in June 1968. It required a good deal of gardening to set up the route as both of the twin cracks were not even visible to start with, until they removed the ivy covering the cracks. Having climbed the route, once the ivy was cleared, they decided on the name.

Bob Jayes Jun/1968.

βeta: A couple of the blocks between the twin cracks move. Had a good look and seemed pretty solid but they do move, so watch out for gear ripping when it\'s weighted.
