The whole Eglwyseg escarpment is both a Site Of Special Scientific Interest and an European designated Special Area Of Conservation. This means that any deliberate or reckless damage or disturbance to the features of the site (inc. to nesting birds, vegetation clearance or drilling) could be regarded as a criminal act.
Rockfax Description
One of the best routes in the valley incorporating sustained climbing in a wild position up a superb natural line. Stand in a long sling on the first bolt to reach a good hold beneath the large undercut flakes. Pull onto the rock and move rightwards to gain a good flake hold. Follow the spectacular line strenuously all the way to the lower-off. 7c+ if the start is climbed free. © Rockfax
