From Ogwen cottage, follow the A5 NW for 200m, cross the road bridge then immediately cross the style on your right. Turn left and follow the path up to three circular stone windbreaks. Continue up for another 20m then turn off left on a very faint path. This passes below several rock buttresses, until it reaches one that goes down almost to the road. Turn up the grassy gully and when you reach a stone wall, cross it. The route starts a few metres up from here. Facing the side of the ridge now, turn up left along a grassy ledge. From here the route is clear and contours to the right of both pinnacles with the second being the most exposed scrambling. All in all the route rakes just 15/20 mins, and the walk-in no-more than 25mins.

RoseHindley 10 Mar, 2013 - day with low cloud and strong winds (wind chill of -23 predicted on summits) decided on the second part of this scramble (grade 2) as 20min walk from the road and took 20mins to do, but very good fun, would like to do the v diff from the start. used a walking rope. (me, natalia, cripsey, nick and gareth)
