Rockfax Description
The pencil-thin crack in the upper reaches of the wall right of Stormy Weather is a worthy companion on equally good rock.
Start 8m right of the edge of the wall. Climb easily to a right-trending break at 4m and then move up leftwards to a very shallow ramp and some gear. Make a tricky move left from the ramp to arrive at a good flat hold (on Stormy Weather). Step right to below the pencil-thin crack and climb this, via a hard starting sequence, to the top. Stake belay 5m up the slope below a large block. © Rockfax

βeta: I had to bail as I went wrong on the route and ended up 10-15m high with no gear up the tiny wee rightwards ramp. I was gonna deck! Max, hero, saved my ass. Thanks for running around and lowering a rope as otherwise I would have broken my legs. Tiny wires are a must. Cool route once I composed myself and followed Max up on second. Would like to lead this. | βeta? | |
