βeta: Why are people doing fall practice on routes like this? That’s a sure fire way to wear out the gear placements. Go find some crappy non-starred routes to do it if you must!

βeta: According to my diaries, the Lancashire guide is incorrect in that Bill Lounds led the first ascent of this, seconded by me, after I'd spent ages pulling rubble from the crack to make it climbable. Probably 1968 also... I could check. Carl Dawson
