βeta: After a forecast for a biblical amount of rain, and a cancelled ferry (presumably requisitioned as an ark), wiser men would have stayed in bed. But no....it was there and so were we. Like the man said it was flippin freezin. Blasted up in a couple of hours to try and beat the weather, ropes blowin sideways in the wind. One of those proper adventures with the outcome uncertain until the very end. Topped out at 9am just as the deluge started, and legged it for the tents. Totally awesome. | βeta? | |

βeta: Gary Latter book has tech grades for only entry pitch, S, Y and layback pitches. However some of the other pitches are at least 4a (or at least a fair bit harder than the entry pitch). | ||
