UKC Logbook Description
A good climb taking the hanging L facing groove just R of Herford's Crack (between Herford's Crack and Arkwright's Reward). Start at a short corner about 2 m R of Herford's and in the line of the groove. Gain the L end of the holly ledge on Arkwright's and continue directly into the groove. Climb it to an exciting swing round the R arete a few m below the top to gain an exit up the buttress front (Variant: Can also continue up the groove by bridging against the far side of the crack of Herford's (M. Hounslea on 2nd ascent) but this seems artificial).
