Rockfax Description
This short route can be combined with Notch Arete to make a fine outing. Follow the runnel below the face to the base of the prominent buttress with a huge detached flake
1) Climb either side of the flake to gain a rib from the left.
2) Move onto the crest of the arete and follow this as best you can, with some detours to the right, to a steep tower.
3) Pass this on its right up an easy-angled rib. As soon as you can, move back onto the crest and follow this with care to the end of the difficulties.
Continuation - Go up North Ridge of Tryfan or Notch Arete. Descend North Ridge of Tryfan if you have had enough. © Rockfax
