The stunning prow/ arête climbed from the grassy ledge on the left. The meat of the difficulty is low down, however the upper reaches are easily droppable, and there is little or no protection.
The first ascentionist only offered a bouldering grade of V12/13 (8a+/8b) as a general idea of the technical difficulty. This in itself would suggest that the route is far harder than any other yet climbed on gritstone so the grade is only a rough estimate.
