Rockfax Description
Fantastic positions and climbing. Start just right of the oblong spike and below an overlap at 6m.
1) 4c, 14m. Move up the wall to the overlap and follow the crack on its right to a ledge and belay.
2) 5c, 18m. Climb the narrow left-facing corner to its end. Move left and up a thin narrow wall to a ledge and belay on the left.
3) 5a, 24m. A wild bit of climbing. Traverse the line of corners and ramps rightwards until it is possible to move into a chimney that leads to the top. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
A brilliant route with a demanding main pitch and exposed finale. P1. Up the crack to the tree or the wall to the left is better than it looks. P2. Up the tapering groove (bold but steady) until it tapers out, then crimp left and up (safe but exciting) to the sloping belay shelf. P3. Wild walking along the exposed shelf and grooves to an awkward chimney finish around the rib.
Paul Ross Bill Aughton 1959.
