A long ridge with increasing interest as it progresses, culminating in an exposed traverse on the ridge of Stob Coire Sgreamhach to the summit.

The 'bad step' on Sgreamhach may be in place depending on snow conditions.
Approach Beinn Fhada from Lairig Eilde and pick a line up the scrambly flanks of the mountain heading for one of the number of short gullies which top out near point 811m (Grade I). Follow the ridge at height before dropping to the saddle between the two mountains and making the ascent to the second summit. A good prelude for the Aonach Eagach Ridge.
