Rockfax Description
A good find with an excellent upper section. Climb the scrappy wall to the curving overlap. Leave this awkwardly using a high hold on the arete and the helpful tree stump. Above, go either direct then left, or leftwards up the crack (slightly harder) to a dirty mantel and the lower-off. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Broken cracks gain a large leftward facing overhang, gain a ledges right under it's apex and make excellent but unlikely moves to gain a hold on the arete and gain a groove containing a tree stump (no need to pull on this however as guide states). Move up into an area of shattered rock before making exciting moves leftwards using a hidden foothold and an often dusty ledge above.

βeta: Significantly cleaned of vegetation summer 2020 and pull out rope installed but don't expect it to be sparkling clean, particularly the pull onto the finishing ledge. Excellent but reasonable tough for the grade, with the move left at the top being particularly exciting. The moves exiting left from under the overhang into the groove by the trimmed tree can be done at about 5b using just the rock and is a fantastic move so don't use the tree stump. | βeta? | |
