Bowles is owned by the Bowles Rocks Trust (a non-profit making charity) and run as an outdoor education centre providing instructional courses as well as allowing members of the public to climb for a fee. All details aroud public access for climbing can be found on the Bowles Rocks website.
Rockfax Description
Follow the shallow curving groove up the centre of the face to better holds. Power steeply over the roof to reach the upper wall stylishly, or fail miserably in a mix of heel hooks and curses. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Make a tricky move to gain the central crack which can be jammed or laybacked, and move up on improving holds for a rest under the overhang. Attack this using the obvious crescent-shaped hold, pull over with difficulty and finish more easily up the cracks above.
