No access problems. The area is part of the Eastern Edges SSSI designated for its assemblage of breeding birds - please make sure dogs are under control to protect birds and sheep: the grazier has reported losses.
Reason: Nesting Birds
Ring ouzel nest sites change quickly and frequently as they often have several broods each year with different nest sites for each brood. On site signage will be up around any of the nest sites where climbing may impact on the birds and this is always up to date and accurate.
Rockfax Description
The hanging groove is a struggle to enter though at least it has overhead gear. It isn't much easier above either. Often frigged! © Rockfax

βeta: A short but good fun route that should be done by anyone in the area. Good gear and solid finger/hand jams provide the pleasure. | βeta?

βeta: The upper part of the crack is desperate for those of us not used to grit-jamming. Also note, this gets tech 5c in the BMC guidebook. | βeta?

βeta: Fabulous route that is probably E1 5b, but feels quite a bit harder because it is so pumpy. Solid jams up the overhanging crack, if you can keep going! | βeta?
