A selective guide to cragging and bouldering in the South Island. Black and white photo-topos supplemented by concise descriptions. There are clear instructions on how to find the climbing sites.
The most curious feature are the so called indices. There are two, one for the Castle Hill boulders and one for all the other crags with routes. In each case the the 'index' is a list of problems/routes in the order they appear in the book but divided into grades.
