Review

The Ben Ledi boulders offer fine climbing on schist, in an aesthetic position on a plateau 400m above sea level, beneath the Ben Ledi pinnacles. Despite the mountain ambiance, the area is remarkably accessible from the Central Belt. Reached from Stirling in under 40 minutes, Glasgow in 1 hour and Edinburgh in 1h30.

St Bride’s Wall is a smaller roadside crag beneath Stank Glen, easily accessed from the A84 and close to the parking. Its short approach, and relative concentration of climbs, makes it an excellent alternative or complement to a visit to the Ben Ledi boulders

Over 70 problems from f2 - f7B+, are fully described with photo topos, and development potential exists for many more lines and eliminates.
