Overview

The UKCMC has a relaxed and casual atmosphere where the emphasis is on having a good time. You will not be expected to climb at a particular skill level and there will be no pressure to perform. Some members rarely climb at all and are just in it for the social aspect of the club, which is just as active as our most dedicated climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, thanks largely to our Social Secretary.

We also go on various trips around the country to places such as Snowdonia, the Peak District and the Lake District. These trips are a great opportunities to see other parts of the country, to walk or mountaineer in beautiful surroundings and to climb some actual rocks.
