Overview

Our relaxed guesthouse with a pool and beautiful views, is located just a short walk (15 mins) from the heart of Foix, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Foix is a lively market town with an historic medieval chateau, busy market offering the best of local produce, pavement cafes and bars, and a wide choice of restaurants ranging from pizzerias to French bistros and a la carte restaurants. The Pyrenees surrounding Foix are stunning and the Ariege is rich in culture and history, with medieval castles and ruins, prehistoric cave paintings, bustling towns and sleepy French villages.
We have easy access to a wealth of crags for climbers as well as having hiking and mountain bike trails right on our doorstep, plus many other sporting activities including canoeing, skiing and snowshoeing, rafting and canyoning. We also have a beautiful 4x8m pool surrounded by wooden decking, perfect for a dip after a day in the mountains. Corinne is also a qualified yoga teacher and teaches regular yoga classes from our studio at home. All classes are drop-in and beginners are welcome.
