La Garganta Rural Tourist Resort is located outside El Chorro train station, in one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Málaga.

La Garganta is only 500 metres from the world class climbing in the El Chorro gorge.

The hotel is a former flour mill dating back to the 19th century and was converted into the present establishment in 2001. It has a total of 19 modern rooms, Duplex Apartments and Apartments with Terraces. There are apartments for 2, 3 or 4 people.

The Duplex Apartments are a combination of modern amenities with traditional style.

There is a well equipped kitchen with everything you might need.
A comfortable living area with TV.
On the same floor as the kitchen there is a double bedroom.
The modern bathroom with shower and another bedroom is on the upper floor.
The Apartments with Terraces offer great views of the Gaitanes valley.

These apartments also have a fully equipped modern kitchen with all mod cons.
There are two double bedrooms.
A comfortable living area with TV.
The bathroom is fully modernised with shower.
Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception, a cosy bar, and a restaurant serving both traditional and innovative dishes.
We have a lovely swimming pool that is open all year for your rest days from climbing, and a garden to relax and take in the evening sun after a hard days climbing.
