Overview

Apex Training is a provider of the following NGB awards and based in the Lake District:
Mountain Leader training and assessment
Single Pitch Award training and assessment
Hill and Moorland Leader training and assessment
Lowland Leader award
Hill skills and Mountain Skills

Apex Training has been providing MTUK courses since the mid 1990's and since 2005 we have been running 8 ML training and 8 ML assessment courses each year. It is unusual if courses do not run due to numbers not fulfilling MTUK regulations.
The cost of ML courses includes food and accommodation (non residential options available) . SPA courses are non-residential.

Paul Platt, who directs Apex Training, has been directing these courses since 1998, not just for Apex Training but many LEA centres and Plas y Brenin. Paul has been the Chair of the AMI since 2011 and stands down in January 2016.
