A large modern dedicated bouldering centre with around 250 problems covering a wide range of grades. 1,000 square metres with slab walls, competition wall, top-out wall, cave area, training area, traverse wall and slack line. Walls are about 7-10m high. Odd rule: you climb to the last hold, and then downclimb (no over the top, no stairs down). Some nice overhangs, neat bouldering cave, short traversing wall (though you could just traverse the whole space). Nice cafe, good facilities (table-tennis table. Yay.) Friendly. Children welcome (£4 under 13, £6.50 under 16 I think) but must be supervised by a NON-CLIMBING adult. No dodging off to climb yourself. A welcome addition in the Brighton area.
