If you are going alone for the bouldering then I would not get your hopes up. The 'cave' is a small room barely bigger then an the bathroom in my bungalow and along half the height. The only climbs in there are roof problems or traverses. Kind of wish I hadn't paid my money now and gone some where else.. But I guess that's where being curious gets you.

Had a play here in the summer. Bouldering isn't really anything to write home about, but top rope and leading was fun. Interesting routes and plenty to go at for an afternoon's climbing. Will no doubt go back next time I'm in Cornwall.

On holiday (not climbing) in Cornwall last week, and made the best of a wet day by climbing for a couple of hours at this centre. Still under construction (by the owner) but is now obviously much expanded from what was (reportedly) there in 2012. Ok, it's not got high walls, but I thought the routes (now around 100?) were well set and interesting (at least up to F6b - the most I could manage!). I would certainly recommend it for a few hours of 'indoor' if the weather isn't fit for real rock.

Chris Nice to see at least one other peron has made a comment since we opened, but as you have not climbed at the wall to say it is not worth a visit is slightly short sighted. If you think it not worth a visit then by all means come and have a go at leading some of our routes, in fact if you can lead six routes I choose I will give you a months free climbing. Every ones view is welcome but do not knock it unless you have tried it.Regards Tony (Owner)

Went in for a quick look and saw a bouldering wall about the size of a large car. The routes are probably no longer than about 6m. Not worth a visit if you are a serious climber but good for a day out with the kids or beginners.

Visited 18.2.2010 ... It's looking like it has a lot of potential. There are currnelty two tiny bouldering rooms, one with several 6B problems, and one is a warm up area. There are about 40 top rope and lead climbs.Roof space means these will only ever be about 25 feet. The place is still under construction, and should once finished have 60+ top rope and lead short climbs, and a large bouldering area. My slight reservation was that the guys running it said they are doing the work themselves - if was them, I'd spend the momey and get the place finished now!!!!
