Overview
9m lead/toprope wall with vertical and heavily featured slab sections, by Rockworks, built 1994. Stone insert traverse wall in corridor, by DR, built 1989. 120 sq m of wall surface. Courses available. Sports centre facilities.Reviews
I learnt on this wall, true the centre isnt very climber orientated, but the routes on the walls offer challenging variety not for experts, but for learners and intermediates. The wall is less for sport climbing but works as a simulation of real rocks, so technique can but well built up. There are some excellent routes using a mix of cracks and overhangs, which are highly enjoyable.

THE STAFF HERE ARE TERRIBLE AND SEEM TO HAVE LITTLE TIME FOR CLIMBERS. AN EXPERT IS NEEDED ON PREMESIS AND A GOOD ROUTE SETTER NEEDS TO WORK THEIR MAGIC HERE!
