Overview

Part of a large sports centre - walls in three separate rooms. Up to 15m panel for lead/top rope, with bolt-ons. Curved resin panel with bolt-ons for bouldering, on balcony. Easier-angled panel with features and bolt-ons in a converted squash court. All by built Bendcrete, in 1995. 600 sq m of wall surface. Extensive sports centre facilities. Courses available: Taster sessions; Junior & Adult Introduction / Advanced Courses. Corporate and Management Training programmes. We offer a variety of courses to suit all abilities from Beginner to Intermediate and Advanced Levels.

 

Adult courses Monday evenings.

 

Junior beginner and intermediate courses are run on Monday evenings and Saturdays and junior lead climbing on Friday evenings.

 

Parent & Child Courses on Wednesday evenings.

went to this centre for the first time earlier this year (came all the way from wales!!) found the staff very helpful and the routes, well laid and graded. Spent all day climbing for a few quid, bargin. Thanks to all who made it a quality day. sam i am

Did a few routes in the Squash court room, interesting little chimney to practice those perculiar skills in!!!

Good little wall, only tried the bouldering section, but theres also a challenging looking lead wall and the small squash court convertion looks a lot of fun. Really friendly staff both the guy at the sports centre reception and Big Mac at the wall itself. :)

you must pass a basic assesment before you can climb. Membership is free @ the moment!.nice wall and friendly staff
