A well kept secret this one...While the bouldering "Corridor" might not have much to offer most climbers, the bouldering wall in the main sports hall is quite good but the best feature is the 13m lead wall (called the "Competition" wall by the venue). It is well bolted, regualry re-routed and has problems up to 7a. [Ewan 4/03]
Features an impressive overhanging lead wall (10m?), some worrying bouldering and the most amazingly polished traverse (in the corridor) you will see this side of Peak limestone. [Charles Arthur 10/99]
The mats at the Sobell are OK, the main danger is a mid air clash between falling climber and rising trampolinist! [Alison Cowley 1/97]
