Overview

The Nord Norske Klatreskole (or NNKS as it is more normally known) has been based in Henningsvær since the early 1990s.

It is THE centre of Lofoten climbing, with an excellent cafe, an extensive climbing shop and rooms to rent in a superb waterfront setting.

The bar contains the New Routes Book and the place is always popular with visiting climbers, here you can sink a pint and reminisce about great days on superb granite, or sit by the fire, dry out your damp clothes and wonder about the weather forecast.
